We are overseeing the construction of the new ALDI SÜD headquarters in Salzburg, an expansive project in close proximity to Salzburg Airport. This state-of-the-art office complex spans approximately 18,700 m² (excluding underground parking) and will accommodate around 1,000 employees across six floors. An additional 11,400 m² underground car park ensures ample parking space.
Our Role within the Project
As part of this landmark project, we are responsible for: Construction supervision (ÖBA), including HVAC (HKLS) and electrical systems Construction site coordination (BauKG)
Key Construction Facts
- Excavation & Stability: A 5.5-metre excavation depth requires approximately 60,000 cubic metres of earthworks, supported by sheet pile walls for structural stability.
- Sustainability Features: The headquarters integrates rainwater utilization, a 250 kWp photovoltaic system, and sustainable heating and cooling via a geothermal brine-to-water heat pump.
- Waterproof Basement: A ‘brown tub’ construction ensures the basement remains leak-proof against groundwater.
- Efficient Logistics: Three strategically placed tower cranes with a range of 60–65 metres optimize site logistics.
