Over the past few months, iC has been on tour across Austria, participating in seven renowned career fairs to inspire students and young professionals about the world of engineering and consulting. With a clear goal to meet emerging talent where they are – at technical colleges, universities of applied sciences, and universities – our teams presented not only our range of services but also the iC corporate culture: innovative, hands-on, and team-oriented.
Strong Presence at Leading Career Fairs
In direct exchange with hundreds of young people, we provided insights into our projects and sparked real enthusiasm for engineering, planning, and sustainable construction. Here’s a look back at the highlights of our tour:
Teconomy Graz (15.05.2025): Bernhard Jäckel, Dieter Schlagbauer, and Fabian Scherounigg represented iC at the largest career fair for technical and natural science students at TU Graz. Many interested students visited the iC booth to learn about topics such as smart buildings, tunnel construction, and environmental planning – an inspiring conclusion to our employer branding season.
FH Campus Wien Internship Fair (11.04.2025): Highly sought-after: practical entry points into construction management and structural engineering. Bettina Seeland, Roman Munz, and Bernhard Jäckel shared expert insights in an accessible and engaging way.
HTL Linz Career Fair (28.03.2025): More than 600 students and graduates explored career opportunities in civil engineering – Paul Schmidberger and Bernhard Jäckel engaged in many enriching conversations.
HTBLuVA Salzburg Company Day (12.03.2025): Our experts in tunnelling, special underground engineering, geotechnics and geology provided exciting behind-the-scenes insights into the world of iC.
Teconomy Leoben (06.03.2025): Students at Montanuniversität Leoben learned about entry paths in tunnel engineering, geotechnics, and geology, thanks to Georg Pintar, Johannes Waldhart, and Bernhard Jäckel.
HTL Mödling Recruiting Day (13.02.2025): With over 1,000 m² of exhibition space and 75 companies represented, our first appearance here was a great success. The iC team discussed internships and thesis collaborations with a highly engaged student body.
Camillo Sitte Job Fair, Vienna (29.01.2025): Bernhard Jäckel introduced iC as an innovative employer and impressed visitors with personal insights into career paths at iC.
Why iC? – Creating Meaningful Perspectives
What stood out most was the openness, curiosity, and enthusiasm of the young visitors. Our team members demonstrated with great dedication that iC is more than just a workplace – it’s a place where talent is nurtured, ideas are developed, and the future is shaped.
Conclusion: Growing Together
These career fair appearances were more than just recruiting events – they were meaningful encounters at eye level. We thank all participants for the valuable conversations and look forward to welcoming the next generation of experts who want to live innovation with us.
