INA Award 2025 | Focus on projects by young talent

Innovative approaches, sustainable solutions and practical ideas from school pupils and students

The INA Award 2025 recognises projects by young experts that combine technical, design and ecological issues. The award honours work that provides practical inspiration for the construction and real estate sector. iC is a partner in the initiative and supports the technical dialogue.

Classification of the award

Projects that combine innovation and sustainability in a comprehensible and coherent manner are evaluated. These include technological, organisational or procedural approaches for buildings, neighbourhoods or urban developments, as well as concepts for resource-efficient planning, design or renovation. Practical relevance and feasibility play a central role.

The award-winning projects 2025

Three projects were honoured in 2025: a bio-based 3D printing process, a newly designed canteen and an urban development concept for an area in the 20th district. The winners each receive 500 euros.

Relevance for young talent and the industry

The award raises the profile of young professionals and highlights the topics that are currently relevant in training and practice – from new materials to urban planning issues. The submitted projects provide insights into current challenges and possible solutions. iC is a partner of the award, supporting young people's access to the professional world.

Event at the ÖIAV

The award ceremony in the ÖIAV's ballroom provides a compact setting for the presentation of the award-winning projects. In addition, participants can engage in conversation with representatives from the fields of architecture, engineering and real estate and exchange their perspectives on training and practice.
