The upcoming paediatric centre will feature advanced medical technology and facilities, including:
- a children's surgical unit with five operating rooms
- pre- and post-surgery care areas
- outpatient clinics, diagnostic rooms, and standard care wards
- paediatric radiology and a dedicated oncology ward
- intensive care and observation units
- a cardiology wing and an endoscopy department
- Upper Austria's first paediatric palliative care ward
The centre will also provide patient-focused amenities such as waiting- and consultation rooms. Simultaneously, the Med Campus will gain a revamped staff cafeteria and dining area, enhancing employee services and upgrading the campus's overall infrastructure.
