Maustrenk III | Clean Energy in Lower Austria

|   Projects

The new wind farm marks a strong commitment to a sustainable energy future.

Three modern Vestas wind turbines with a total capacity of 18.6 megawatts generate clean electricity for more than 30,000 people – locally produced and independent of fossil fuels.

A Model Renewable Energy Project

Maustrenk III plays a key role in Lower Austria’s plan to become energy autonomous by 2030. The wind farm not only enhances the region’s energy security around Zistersdorf and the Weinviertel area, but also drives the energy transition with a clear focus on environmental and climate protection.
