For years, the Ukrainian platform Pragmatika.Media has established itself as a highly respected medium at the interface of architecture, urban planning, design and society. Since the beginning of the war, a particular focus has been on the reconstruction and future-oriented modernisation of Ukraine - both in urban space and in the area of architectural cultural heritage.
Claudiu Silvestru, Sustainable Development Project Manager at iC consulenten in Vienna, was invited for an interview by Pragmatika.Media as part of this thematic focus.
Building for the future - with respect for the past
In this interview, Claudiu Silvestru talks about the challenges of rebuilding historical architecture in Ukraine after the war - and how combining local craftsmanship with international expertise can offer resilient and culturally respectful solutions.
