With the expansion of its premises on Itzlinger Hauptstraße, iC is making a targeted investment in expanding its capacity in Salzburg. The additional office space provides the ideal conditions for handling complex projects and supports the continued growth of the geology, geotechnical engineering and geothermal energy departments.

Geology and Geotechnical Engineering for Complex Construction Projects

The Geology and Geotechnics Department supports projects from site investigation and data analysis, through digital 3D modelling and geotechnical design, to on-site monitoring during construction. In addition, the range of services includes hydrogeological measurements and monitoring, seepage and groundwater investigations, as well as the design of well and construction dewatering measures. This range of services is complemented by natural hazard analyses, geotechnical reports and the design of foundations, excavation pits, slopes and geothermal projects.

Geothermal energy for sustainable energy solutions

The Geothermal Engineering Department supports projects from the feasibility study stage, through simulations and planning for regulatory approval, right through to tender documentation, detailed design and construction supervision. The range of services includes, amongst other things, geothermal probe fields, energy piles, energy diaphragm walls, energy floor slabs, as well as geothermal solutions for tunnels and the utilisation of groundwater.

Interdisciplinary collaboration as a strength

Through close collaboration with other specialist departments within iC, we develop comprehensive solutions for infrastructure, tunnel construction, mining, hydropower and wind power projects, as well as near-surface geothermal energy. International project experience, modern digital planning methods and interdisciplinary teams form the basis for bespoke engineering solutions across a range of service areas.
