We recently had the opportunity to support the client to conduct the important pre-bid site visit and clarification meeting for the Tunnel Prenj works tender. Hereby, we deliver implementation support/technical assitance to facilitate steady progress of this key project for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The project involves constructing the 10.9km twin-tube Tunnel Prenj and 24 km of road approaches as part of the Konjic - Mostar North section on Corridor Vc in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). This motorway section is part of the Pan-European Corridor Vc, connecting Hungary, Croatia, BiH, and the Adriatic Sea.
It is included in the TEN-T Mediterranean core network and BiH's Transport Strategy 2016-2030. The project aims to boost trade, tourism, and economic growth, while improving road safety, reducing travel times, and lowering emissions. It is expected to enhance regional accessibility and promote economic and social cohesion in the region.
