Flagship Project for Public Safety | New Police Security Centre in St. Pölten

A modern campus will bring together police services, operational training and citizen services in one purpose-designed location.

The new Police Security Centre in St. Pölten is a forward-looking development that consolidates several key security functions at a single site. iC is responsible for accompanying monitoring, ensuring that this complex build is delivered to high standards of quality, on time and within budget.

A Campus for Security and Citizen Services

Covering around 36,000 m² of gross floor area, the campus will accommodate the regional police headquarters, an operational training centre, the state office for security and counter-terrorism, as well as an additional police station. With an investment of approximately €171 million, the buildings will be constructed by the Province of Lower Austria and leased by the Ministry of the Interior. Construction is scheduled to begin in summer 2027, with completion planned for 2030.

Sustainable and Integrated Urban Development

Located behind “Kombi-West”, the site has been carefully selected to balance functionality with urban compatibility. Designed as an open campus with multiple buildings, landscaped areas, footpaths and an internal access road, the project combines security and public service with sustainable planning. It will also generate new jobs and strengthen St. Pölten as a hub for public safety and administration.
