The Chamber of Chartered Engineering Consultant, Architects and Engineers in Upper Austria and Salbzurg (Kammer der ZiviltechnikerInnen, ArchitektInnen und IngenieurInnen in Oberösterreich und Salzburg) has published the second issue of its “INGenial” magazine presenting a series of engineering projects and a wide scope of activities. iC is represented on the front page with the Yusufeli dam and hydropower plant project in Turkey:
“On behalf of the national Turkish water authorities a storage power station with a capacity of 558 MW is being erected on the river Çoruh in northern Turkey. The double curved arch wall has a height of 272 m. At the time of award of contract in August 2012 the Yusufeli arch dam was the highest dam in Turkey and the third-highest worldwide.”

On 16 April, the iC project was selected and awarded first place among all submitted contributions by the Chamber.
