For the fire brigade Neunkirchen a new administration building including garage and technical facilities were erected. For this reason, a car wash and repair unit, training room, recreation areas and offices were needed. In case of disaster the station should be fully operable.
The fire brigade building houses also the district's emergency central and facilities for district and section fire command. For this purpose special needs concerning infrastructure and reliability of operation must be considered. To comply the requirements an emergency generator set and a mobile heating plant were installed. The construction works were performed during ongoing operations of the fire Brigade.
The emergency central uses about 15 vehicles. The new buildung has a total useable area of 3,600 sqm.
iC has been contracted with mechanical and electrical engineering and building physics as follows: design, from concept to execution design including tendering and submission- site supervision.
