They shared their expertise in 'Building Information Modelling' (BIM), an innovative approach to project management in the construction industry. This technology displays building data from all aspects of a project and consolidates it into an intelligent building data model. The model can then be accessed by all parties involved at any time and aids in all subsequent steps. Florian Kaplan and Phillip Broidl presented their know-how on this topic using six common use cases as well ass explained how proper use can increase efficiency and transparency while reducing errors. Such developments facilitate ongoing projects and are the first steps into the future of the construction industry.
