Among the 2000 participating experts were also some of our colleagues from iC, who benefited from the informative events.
Under the theme "Expanding Underground", the ITA presented both conventional and innovative methods of tunnelling through round tables, exhibitions and technical visits to construction sites in Athens. However, the focus was on innovation and research, new technologies and methods that represent the future of tunnelling. Topics such as sustainability, planning and design, as well as the use of new methods and systems were discussed. The focus was also on the special qualities of tunnelling and the solutions it offers for future problems.
The congress offers the opportunity to find out about the latest developments and findings as well as to exchange ideas and prepare for changes with foresight.
