ÖGNI Training for DGNB Consulting

|   Projects

20 of our team members were trained as DGNB consultants through ÖGNI in early September.

As an essential contributor to design and construction in various sectors, we know how crucial it is to be proactive regarding legal responsibilities. Our colleagues training covered the fundamentals, but also the intricacies of the DGNB system, taxonomy and circular economy to safeguard our projects fulfil the strictest sustainability criteria.

The DGNB certification system of the ÖGNI objectively assesses the sustainability of buildings, interiors and neighbourhoods over their entire life cycle. Its flexibility means that different building uses and country-specific requirements can be taken into account.

It covers six subject areas: Ecology, economy, socio-cultural and functional aspects, technology, processes and the location. The first four subject areas have equal importance in the assessment, which makes the DGNB system unique, as it considers ecology to be just as important as other factors for sustainable buildings.
