EIA Nordbahn: Wien Süßenbrunn - Bernhardsthal

Project objectives

Modernising the Süßenbrunn to state border railway line (km 11.9 - 78.0) concerns a section of the ‘ Nordbahn’, one of the most important railway connections between Austria and the Czech Republic. It runs from Vienna to the state border at Břeclav.

Project description

Services provided for the 66.1-kilometre development of the ‘Nordbahn’ include the environmental impact assessment, submission under railway law and preparation of specialist reports on immissions protection.

Project data

The 66.1 km long railway line is being modernised through track renewal, the conversion of stations, the elimination of railway crossings and an increase in travel speed.
