We consider ourselves fortunate to be responsible for the general planning coordination for this project. The new building at the centre of the Favoriten campus will house the radiology department, the breast health centre, the interventional vascular centre and the administration. Klinikum Favoriten is hereby continuing its modernisation efforts, which began in 2016 with the opening of the state-of-the-art mother-child and surgical centre.
The project, which is to be completed by 2025, aims to actively involve employees in the design and planning process to ensure that their future workplace meets their needs and expectations. In the meantime, key departments will be temporarily housed in an area of 1,830 square metres spread over five floors until the main building is operational.
The reconstruction of the Favoriten Clinic will take place seamlessly during ongoing operations and promises high-quality patient care. The future main building will offer patients all services at one location, shorten routes across the campus and provide comfortable single and double rooms, which will significantly improve the quality of stay for patients and staff.
