The Eric Kandel Institute - Center for Precision Medicine in Vienna aims to become a leading institution for the research and development of individualised medical therapies.

  • [Translate to English:]

It focusses on biomedical research, clinical studies, genome technology, bioinformatics and IT. We are delighted to be part of this project and contribute the technical controlling.

With 6,000 square metres of available space, the institute will offer modern research conditions and a first-class infrastructure for around 200 researchers by the end of 2026. The aim is to develop customised prevention, diagnosis and therapy methods in the field of precision medicine. The building will offer space for specialised facilities, including computer-aided biomedicine projects, technology platforms and a biobank.

This will enable the targeted treatment of patients and the identification of the causes of diseases at a molecular level, particularly in the case of diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, mental disorders, cancer and other health problems.
