House of Health Sciences | Innovation at FH Campus Wien

|   Projects

In Vienna, a significant step was recently taken to strengthen healthcare provision. As part of the inauguration of the House of Health Sciences project, a symbolic foundation stone laying ceremony took place.

This act not only marked the beginning of a groundbreaking project, but also embodies the vision of innovative health care in the city.

With its impressive 41,000 m², the House of Health Sciences in Vienna offers a generous space for state-of-the-art facilities and room for 5000 students. Bringing together the currently externally located Department of Applied Nursing Sciences and the Department of Health Sciences under one roof enables interprofessional teaching and research. Experts from iC's construction and project management division were responsible for project control and site supervision.

The House of Health Sciences project in Vienna not only has innovative approaches to health care, but also to contract management. Through a collaboration with Heid und Partner Rechtsanwälte GmbH, iC was able to pursue the Alliance Contract model. This model promotes close cooperation between all parties involved. Through a partnership approach, the aim is to improve communication, minimise risks and maximise the efficiency of the project. The Alliance Contracts model enables stakeholders to pool their expertise and create synergies to successfully complete the House of Health Sciences.

These groundbreaking initiatives and commitment to innovation in health care positions Vienna as a pioneer in the health sector. The time capsule in the House of Health Sciences symbolically embodies the desire for continuous progress and the vision of innovative healthcare that meets the needs of Vienna's citizens.
