Construction of a 220 m long access tunnel in the Klammstein quarry (Gastein valley), expansion of the quarry.

Project description

The Christian Ehrensberger Gmbh operates the Klammsteinbruch quarry in Klammstein (Dorfgastein). The access tunnel was constructed for the development of new resources. The Tunnel passes under the ridge at the entrance of the Gastein valley. The access tunnel is located in the metamorphic Klammstein limestone units. Faults with karst appearances occurs near the east portal.
