World Tunnel Congress in Dubai
iC was represented by a lecture by Michael Proprenter and Gerold Lenz. The participation in the ITA working group WG22 about "Information modelling in tunnelling" was also part of the visit to the United Arab Emirates.

iC project was awarded first place in the magazine "INGenial"
The Chamber of Chartered Engineering Consultants, Architects and Engineers in Upper Austria and Salzburg (Kammer der ZiviltechnikerInnen, ArchitektInnen und IngenieurInnen in Oberösterreich und Salzburg) has published the second issue of its “INGenial” magazine. iC was chosen as the best contribution with the Yusufeli dam and hydropower plant project in Turkey and was awarded on 16.4. in Linz.

Renovation of the Parlament, Vienna
The parliament building is being refurbished. A unanimous decision by the President’s Conference of the National Council has been in place since January 2014. Many years of work have resulted in a sound basis for decision-making that all the parties represented on the National Council were able to agree to. This has freed the way to award the contract to a general contractor in the summer of 2014 and the realisation of a ‘sustainable refurbishment concept’ for the parliament in Vienna.

Energy community – What does it mean for Ukraine?
In April, 2014 Elena Rybak, Managing Director of iC consulenten, was published in the international journal “OGEL” with the article “Energy Community – What Does it Mean for Ukraine?”. The article became part of a Special edition on the Energy Community edited by Dr. Dirk Buschle (Deputy Director and Legal Counsel of the Energy Community Secretariat), which illustrates the diversity and complexity of the topic of EU external energy policy. The goal of the Special edition was not to provide a coherent account of where the Energy Community stands today, but suggest an inspiring reading on the current issues and future options for the Energy Community.
